I would ask in the home decorating forum as they really are good with colors, etc.

Pick you wall and trim colors together. Get small pint sized samples and brush them on large areas of the wall and trim to see the various samples in natural, shaded and artificial lighting before making your final selection.

You make no mention of existing upholstered furniture/rugs/curtains. These will dictate what color your paint. You're getting the cart before the horse.

No link to finish house posts as they complete round the calendar. Best bet is to go through the how is your build coming to find spaces you like but none of them will match the lighting or trim in your home. You really need to do samples in your space to know how the colors will cast. Paint selection is tricky business.

We are ina similar place with our build. I wanted a soft neutral scheme; most of our furnishings are more warm toned. Our painters use Sherwin Williams. Our trim will be Alabaster, most walls Natural Choice, and ceilings pure white. We are using Rainwashed for the master and Lacewing for daughter's room (funny enough, we matched that to the color of one of our chicken's eggs). Hopefully it will work!
