I have a Red Dragon that was about that size when I received it. I have grown it like a Vanda in a ceramic vented orchid pot with a small amount of bark in the bottom of the pot. I water it daily, fertilize weekly and it is in sun until noon. It did not bloom until it was about 15 inches tall (took three years) but this year it bloomed twice. Good luck and be patient. I grow outside 3/4 of the year.
