There is a box near the top of the page that says "Search in Gardenweb"; if you put your title, "Fertilizing indoor citrus" in that box, you will find a mountain of good advice.

I would definitely search. However, you may find various opinions on the subject. Some do, some don't, some fertilize lightly...I think it depends on your particular growing conditions and what you are trying to get the tree to do. If you want it more dormant because it has lower light levels and cooler temps in winter, then cut back altogether or only offer a light concentration. Many of us here us Foliage Pro. During the summer I fertilize pretty much weekly. Over the winter, I have been fertilizing at half strength less often. I can't tell you exactly how often, but on the order of every two to three weeks. Keep in mind that my trees are in a room that is pretty warm and have lots of lights in addition to window light. They have continued to grow through the winter.

I do the same as Vladimir. but but I use Miracle Gro 24-8-16.

I am one of those that does not fertilize at all all winter until they can go out..Mines are kept cool and are slowed down..They do still flower like crazy, hold the green color pretty well and still grow fruit..NO bugs.

Those in my warmer sunnier rooms don't get fed either. They still do well.

Those in the greenhouse get fed once a month if that and still do well, but I have to watch for pests..

Seems the majority prefer liquid based fertilizer over granules. Many don't seem to be worried about using organic forms either, so I'm assuming the Foliage Pro is good for edibles and ornamentals alike? Anyone ever used EcoScraps, Jobes, or Espoma?

Dand, I have used just about everything except for the one that Laura is using these days along with Foliage Pro..It seems to be working pretty good for her and I am thinking about buying some..I forget the name of it though..

I have been using Foliage Pro all along and nothing like the ones you mentioned above beat this stuff...
