I have one which is huge but I can't get a dam bloom on it. I've moved it all over the place and not a single bloom.

Beautiful plant/blooms. I especially like the unchained melody. Jane, you're doing better than I did. Couldn't even get my plant large enough to possibly bloom

I get a couple of blooms on my Melody Unchained but not a lot.

James, do you give it a winter rest... Cool or dry?

I keep it cooler in the winter but I keep watering it.

I think they need some degree of weather. Easy here in a shade-house/ bush house. Cool tolerant in winter down to the low 40's F at night. Winter rainfall might be a lot or very little in this east coast erratic climate. Many sunny days even in winter.

Correct name is Coelogyne Jannine Banks 'Snow White'. A lovely orchid which won a major prize at one of our shows a few years ago.

A little bit of trivia. Both orchids registered by David Banks. Coel. Unchained Melody was thought to be a species called Coel. intermedia till it was found to be a hybrid and given the new name.
