Peas, radishes and cauliflower doing well. It might become just a pea bed later.

Currant & gooseberry will be planted this year.

I planted berries a couple years ago, but I didn't know anything about them. They are doing well and, in my opinion, seem to be going a little wild. Do you have any advice on pruning, reigning them in, caging them--anything like that? It's one of those garden plants I'm so glad I got, but wish I had a better plan before I planted them! Heidi

If they are canes they can pop up anywhere. Any kind of bush you can prune back after it fruits.

There are some wonderful you tube videos available online that tell you how to take care of your raspberries. Mine are black raspberries and have a little bit of shade of a old white pine and so they don't spread much for whatever reason. I usually go out in later March and cut back last year's fruiting canes to the ground. They are old and dark brown by this point and so are easy to distinguish.
