I can understand your confusion, since I have used a number of mirrors in this space. However, you are correct at seeing that there are indeed two separate bathroom spaces, a 'his and hers'. If you look though the whole group of photos, you will see that there is a central 'Entry' into the Master bedroom and this divides the two separate bath rooms. There is also an attempt to create a sense of a single shared room, so there are strategic openings that allow a recognition of the 'Whole' while still providing a privacy and independence of the separate spaces.
