Hello. My name/Houzz name is Tammi Kroeger. I live in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains just south of Yosemite National Park in Central California. I've planted flowers and herbs on and off for years, but this will be my first spring of "serious" vegetable gardening. I'm trying to start as many plants from seeds as I can. I would like a combination of vegetables and flowers. I am happy to share any extra seeds as I have them. I followed the directions and turned on my messaging. I would prefer to use PayPal.

Hi! My Name/Houzz name is Chelsea Korth. My family is starting our first garden this year. I have a few older seeds from family members (2013-2015) so I am not sure if they will germinate. I have been looking at seed catalogues and dreaming all winter, but trying to start the garden on a budget as I am a graduate student and my husband is a teacher. I am excited to teach my children about food and gardening, and increase our consumption of organic vegetables and fruits! I would love any and all seeds, and will look forward to paying-it-forward with our saved seeds next year! I am still working through how we want to garden and lacking experience, but we are trying for no-till gardening using a cover crop, with our cleared garden area about 1400 sq ft. I want to do a mixture of flowers and vegetables to attract beneficial insects, but I am trying to be very careful not to plant anything toxic/poisonous so that kids can come and go in the garden and pick things at will. Hi, we lost our beautiful fully sustainable homestead 3 years ago and thankfully, after a lot of hard work, we have finally moved to a new 5 acre parcel. Unfortunately all my seeds are from the old farm so they are 3 years old, and being a young couple that just purchased our first home our budget is pretty tight. We just moved to a house in Plymouth MN (zone 4) I have a fairly large yard (0.6 acre lot) and I'm looking to get an edible garden going. I am very interested in perennial edibles although happy to include companion plants as well. I'm also a recent father and have the opportunity to stay home with my daughter most days and I would like to have her grow up in a garden understanding where food comes from. My yard has a lot of shade but a few sunny spots to work with. The soil is also very clay like and so I've got my work cut out for me.

Hi. I'm new here and to gardening in general. We just bought our home and the yard is pretty bare looking. I have full shade around front and full sun around back. I'm in zone 6. I have 2 small daughter's who love flowers and planting anything. My name on here is the same as my real name. I would love any kind of flowers. My name is Holly, and I am writing on behalf of the UC Davis Tri-Cooperatives, an organization of student-run affordable housing. We are currently looking to revitalize our garden after a few years of neglect, coupled with the effects of the California drought. Vegetable seeds in particular would be greatly appreciated. A recent college grad trying to start a slower type of life. We have 3 acres of land in a rural part of southern california in the High Desert. As of now we are laying out the beds and amending the soil.

Veggies

I am a musician. And when I'm not playing the drums I'm playing in the dirt. I am building my clay soil through wood chips and composting. That takes time. So I have been picking up mulch from the city and last year I laid down a strip across the front border of my property and stuck as many things as I could in there.

I have a bee hive and they survived the winter!! I'm excited to see what they think of all the work I've been doing to feed them lol. I have a friend that has over 20 hives and I convinced him to turn his back yard into a bee Buffett. So I'll be setting him up this year.

I have mulched about 1/3 of the tree lawn and that is where I put some of the pretty, ivansive plants.

Im just discovering the world of hardy/perennial and self seeding vegetables.

(Sorrel and arugula are on my watch list)

It all started bc I didn't want to mow my lawn but my passion for giving plants a life in my Yarden has beecome so much more...fruitful.
