Oh we're good...just getting blasted by snow. Nothing new :-)))

Yup. Less than a foot here, I think. This was the biggest storm of the season so far, so the weather forecasters got a little overexcited.

Yep, all OK in my neck of the woods too. As far as we can see, about a foot of snow, but the high winds plastered the snow on the windows so we can't see out much. We didn't lose power which is the main thing, so as far as blizzards go, this was a easy one. (coming from someone who can't run a snow blower or shovel!!)☺☺

A highly motivated turkey. We have a bunch of mourning doves sitting in the backyard tree, in the freezing wind, waiting for the guy in the next condo to come and feed them. Are you on the coast? Is that water in the background?

Yes, we're on the coast, that's Kingston Bay we look at and across the water is Plymouth. I actually cropped the picture to make the turkey show better, most of what now shows is marsh with that small gunning shack on it....

Hello, waving my hand! We received well over ft. of snow but hard to tell because it was wicked windy. Forecasting 3" more tonight. And more in a few more days.

I've been busy today planting Streps, Kohleria, Saintpaulias & Chirita...and filling my humidifiers. Oh and planted 2 more Amaryllis. 'Dancing Queen' & 'Apple Blossom'.

Yesterday I had 7 goldfinches on the Nyjer socks 5 Juncos eating out of the feeder I made and 2 hairies on the suet cage. Those were the only feeders I could see.. I have many more. It was wicked, snow came down sideways.

was that a nor'easter? thot we sent that one to you. made a mess here for a day/two … but the snow pack is now melted … that will come your way too

Not technically because it came from the west..a true Nor'easter comes from the south & moves up the coastline...But snow is snow no matter where it comes from. It's snowing now, 4:30 a.m..............My Mr. said it's called a Clipper when it comes from the west.

Well, here on coastal South Shore it mostly was a wet drizzle that did not accumulate more than 3 inches as of this morning. It is still lightly snowing but mercifully, we never got the scary winds that they were predicting. All in all, I'd say we escaped the worst; not so though for those further north....

In Cambridge we got about 5" of cement and luckily I had the day off from work because it took me three hours to shovel it off the side walk and driveway. Now I don't know if the DPW gets some kinda twisted thrill of plowing back what I just broke my back digging out, but if they do it again...I'm gonna start throwing rocks at 'em!!!!

we received an additional 7 inches or so. My Mr. cannot get the snowblower to start...we have a long downhill driveway which was never cleared...so my car is going No where for awhile...
