Hello! My cousin gifted me a fiddle leaf fig tree today and I'm not quite sure what to do with it. It seems as if there are actually 2 of them in one pot. And it has grown to be very tall and vertical with no branching. I feel like I need to re-pot it since the roots are growing above the soil now. But it is also only February here in florida (fluctuating hot and cold temps) I also would like to cut it back some since it can barely support itself with these bamboo stakes (if it wasn't in a corner it would topple over!)

I am looking all through these forums for tips. But I'm scared! What should/shouldn't I do first!
