There are many house plans that can easily be adapted for two adjoining masters. The trick is finding the house plan you like and then does the exterior look anything like you want. My sister and BIL had an architect draw up their plans and were able to easily accomplish this. She started by finding various house plans that had features she liked and several home exteriors that she liked and then started meeting with the architect.

I just googled house plans with two masters and went to images. There are many where there is a master and then a study or extra bedroom that abuts the master and all that space could then be joined together.

Thanks so much for your feedback. What I am really having a hard time finding is with an adjoining bath. My husband and I planning to meet with an architect soon. Thanks again!

What I was trying to describe is like this plan. Maybe this is not what you are talking about. Forget that there is a second master off to the right side of the plans. All of that space can be reworked to just be standard bedrooms and a study. On the left side of the plan there is a master and then there is a study/bedroom up in the front of the house on the same side. All of that can be reworked to have the two bedrooms with shared bathroom/closets in between.
