Growing from Seed

geraniums up in 3 days

I planted Geranium seed Saturday & they are up this Tuesday morning, Removed plastic cover and will put them under lights for 15 hours a day ( four bulb t5s). The room they are in is 65 degrees, and they were started in Organic Mechanic seed starting mix, which claims to have several weeks worth of fertilizer. Anything else I should Know?

Sounds like you are off to a really good start. Just need lots of close-in light and avoid over-watering so no damp-off or fungus gnat problems develop. Good luck.

How exciting! It's early for me but I'm going to start a few plants this weekend, just to see how they do. 3 days to germinate is fast! Good luck with your new sprouts!
