Yes - your picture shows the arborescent phase of Hedera helix, Ivy. When it reaches the top of its support the leaf shape changes and it bushes out rather than clinging by aerial roots. Then it flowers, fruits and, in the US, goes on to invade more space. Here, where it is native, it is not a problem and provides valuable nectar late in the year, berries through the winter and shelter all year round.

Well thank you for educating me on this one! Unfortunately or not, I'm not sure I can consider ivy a problem here anymore. Deer decimate everything reachable. The entire island these trees stand in are denuded. Here is Diana, once draped in ivy that climbed that snag behind her and hung like a parasol. No more.

Oh, do I wish our west coast deer favored ivy!! That would so simplify our problems with this exceedingly invasive (in my area) plant. It grows madly in any untended natural areas, both as a sprawling groundcover and and as a tree climbing vine.

However the deer in this vicinity have rather sophisticated appetites and never bother any of the invasives like the English ivy, Japanese knotweed or Himalayan blackberries (they DO eat the berries they can reach) and favor instead the more exotic and preferred garden ornamentals like Japanese maples, roses, hydrangeas, hostas and heucheras and any and all vegetable or edible plants. Need to rethink where to locate my containered tomatoes and raspberries this year :-)

Second growth type would be something else, maybe Euonymus fortunei - closer view needed.

Oh, yes. I was too focussed on the top pictures. No. 3 doesn't appear to be Ivy, just as Embo says.

Our native roe deer will eat Ivy in the winter but they only defoliate. They don't kill.
