I agree cayenne or ristra cayenne.

One of the first things you can do is to pick a pepper, break it in half and touch an open section to your tongue. If there is no heat you might have a sweet cayenne like Jimmy Nardello. If hot there are many more variety options.

Contact the seed company and ask what they know about it. At the very least they should send replacement seed.

I have a pepper plant that looks a lot like this. I can't positively ID neither yours or mine, but I know the seeds I grew mine from come straight from India and that most likely makes it a Jwala, so it's what I call it. Of course there are a myriad of lookalike C.annuum peppers out there.

Are they sweet or hot? If sweet, maybe it could be a fushimi? They kind of look like my fushimi peppers last year, little less wrinkled.
