I started wave petunias 6 weeks ago. The pink germinated in 5 days - the yellow never germinated at all. I used a heating mat, jiffy peat pellets, lights for 16 hours a day and I did not cover the seeds. The pinks look really healthy right now but the yellows are doing absolutely nothing except mocking me. They were sowed side by side in the same medium with the same conditions. I started to think it was the seeds.

I bought more yellow wave petunia seeds from a different vendor and started them on January 25th - 21 days ago and ...nada. Not a single yellow wave petunia bloomed yet, not even a tiny spec of green.

Should I toss them and start again or be patient? I imagine the 6 week non starters are out for the count?

Am I missing something? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
