In addition to what Johnmerr wrote above. after watering put the seedling in a location with good air circulation and direct sun light to dry off the top surface of the soil. Doing so will greatly prevent a fungus known as rhzoctonia (damping off). Rhzoctonia is the number one killer of young seedlings. After the seedling develops its first true leaves you can start fertilizing lightly. Be careful with over watering, but don't let the soil dry out. Lastly don't kill the little tree with too much TLC, given the proper attention a citrus seedling can pretty much take care of itself.

john will that work with this glazed pot? And thank you silica for the advice.also my other seed has taken root but has not sprouted it's like it's stuck in the shell. Will it work its self out or can I help remove the shell.

If there is a drain hole(s) in the pot, the glazing is not important; the water will come thru the drain holes until it gets to the root zone of the seedling, but not the surface. Leave the second seedling alone; it will shed the seed cover.

Generally a waste of money; substitute a chopstick or your finger.

John and Silica give good advice. Moisture meters can be very inaccurate and are generally useless.

I started using a bamboo skewer, and it really appears to be an effective way to check water distribution in the pot.
