"N" ...All hail the NOIDs!

I just put in my first order ever from MidAmerica. I've been tempted before but haven't wanted to pay for the phytosanitary certificate. But there were a number of dwarf beardeds that I didn't buy and then dreamed of all through last season, and they have some really spectacular new ones, so I jumped. Also, it's super-fun to receive plants in the mail! :)

NOID #1 - I think it might be Dusky Challenger. Thoughts? More of a blue feel than red to the purple.

NOID #2 - I can't imagine I'll ever be able to narrow this one down, but I'm really fond of it nonetheless! The style arms are kind of golden...

NOID #3 - MDB, maybe Snuggles

Hmm, my NOIDs seem to be all of a certain colour class....

NOID #4 - Siberian from Chuck Chapman. He was unable to give me a definitive ID.

Night Edition

Might want to check out your "Night Edition" I believe it has a white top and definitely yours has a more modern form. Interesting what flash can do colors.

redwolfdoc, it is fun to get iris in the mail. I like your first two NOIDs.

Here's one of a few NOIDs I have. I would love a name if anyone has a guess. It's got to be an oldie. Got it from a hardware store, dried up in a netting bag, 20 or so year ago. Looks burgundy at times....

but is more of a brown.

It grows tall and is prolific.

Night Edition photo taken at dusk. I think it's interesting to see how it looks only seconds apart, the 2nd pic where I zoomed a bit and the flash went off.

This is another NOID, that digging up some records, it looks like it might be Pinafore Pink, or could it be Prissy Miss?

Just googled NE, and sure enough, this does not have the right coloring to be that one. I appreciate the help and don't mean to mislead anyone. This came from a mail order nursery, but not one that specializes in Iris.

I may have gotten the wrong one or possibly my fault for misidentifying it. My earlier records of where I planted everything aren't as detailed as I'd like.

Very nice Beth! Is October Sky really that blue?

Hmmm, Rosette Wine is the closest I've seen - looks more pink than mine but that colouring can be variable. I'll do some research! The style arms sure look right! Thanks!
