Mine is about to bloom again, and brilliant new growth is appearing throughout. I'm hoping the fruit that have set will stay to maturity.

I'd say your pictured fruit still has a ways to go.

Gorgeous looking fruit and amazing flowers Evan! That tree looks well fed that's for sure.

My little cutting is pushing out tons of greenery and flowers... still too small for fruit.

That's a beautiful plant Evan. It seems to like that spot & do well in zone 9b. How many months roughly from young fruit set to maturity? I'm thinking of putting this one back outside in the GH this week which means letting it get much warmer temps and full sun.

The fruit on my tree takes about 10-11 months to mature, but it's a young tree, it's only been in the ground for a couple of years. If it were me I'd put your tree into the GH until it's warm enough to put it outside without protection. You'll maximize your growing season by doing that.

Do all lemons set this much fruit at a young age? I must be doing something right... I haven't even fertilized this year. Should I thin out some of the fruit? There must be 25 baby lemons and over a dozen flowers forming still.

I think some of them will drop off naturally if the tree cant sustain them.

My pink Eureka sets TONS of fruit...and then slowly drops them all, more or less.

This is one of the trees that I would love to get but can't justify since I have so little space. Its so pretty and the fruit is neat with the pink flesh, for now I'll just look wistfully at your beautiful trees!

Growing fast @ two months! This plant is grown in plain miracle grow potting soil and hasn't been fertilized since late 2016.

Small update June 5

I'm blown away with the two on the left.. Look at the picture from April 4 they were tiny! Hope everyone else's lemons are doing well! Feel free to share them on here.

Matt, those look great!! My tree bloomed and grew all winter and is not blooming and growing again. It has a few small fruit, but I wonder if it will keep them. Evan, that is an amazing tree!!

Matt your tree is looking great, keep up the good work and you'll be enjoying pink lemonade in no time.

Laura, thanks it's the same tree I always show photos of but its grown a lot this year. It always puts on a nice show of purple growth early in the spring. I love that tree and it's not even mine, it was a valentines gift to my wife so technically it's hers. :-/

Matt, yes I love that tree! I noticed Josh asked you a while back and I assume that you love it! I almost lost mine over the winter. I under watered it and the whole thing defoliated and lost a few branches..I had to cut it way back. I thought it was a goner until I noticed beautiful growth the other day. I will post a pic for you. Looking good! Do you eat your fruit? Use it for other things?

Evan, all I can say is awesome!! Love your variegated tree. Always have. It must give you great pleasure to look at it right before sundown and right before sunrise to light up your yard.

Hey all, so I harvested three of these this year. The first one was pre mature and was in Aug -Sept. The last picture are the latest two I picked a few days ago which turned out really nice! happy new year!

Nice Matt! Mine had a mini growth spurt about a month ago and seems to be "resting" at the moment. lol Last year it set a couple fruit that promptly dropped when they got about nickel size.

I like the colour and size of your lemons. Keep em coming.

Matt, nice work! Indeed that third pic shows a properly matured Pink Eureka fruit. Mine give a delicious and strong hit of acid!
