BlueStar range promotion

Just a heads up- I saw a promotion on BlueStar's Facebook page.

Purchase your BlueStar Platinum or RNB range at one of our in-store events and get up to $1,000 in added value with FREE colored or stainless steel knobs. Find an event near you now at https://goo.gl/Ef6Uww

Unfortunately there are no events listed within 100 miles from us. I am only 35 miles from BlueStar headquarters and I called to inquire if more locations would be added. After putting me on hold a bit, the customer service rep informed me that one of their local reps will set up a time at a nearby dealer with me to demo the model which will qualify me for the promo. We are considering BlueStar with a blue knob and this would be a savings!

Thought I'd share if there is a demo site near you.

Just spoke with the District Manager and he scheduled a demo for us in 2 weeks at a dealer that has a live Platinum range about 30 miles from here. It should be interesting - he used to work at the plant in Reading and he's going to stir fry something with the wok. He suggested we met at noon so that we can eat the meal afterwards.

kooopons- I asked him why they no longer have demos in Reading and he said that they switched buildings and are in the process of setting up an area with proper ventilation and a new showroom that should be ready in the fall.

It is definitely a great savings, we got the RNB with blue knobs (had to pay for them though) and love it! Happy shopping to you!

Thanks for posting this. I just signed up for the demo in Portland. I've been researching BlueStars for a couple of weeks now. Good timing!!

My closest scheduled demo is about 80 miles. I could just hop the train and attend the Architectural Digest show in NYC in March. I called the Blue Star District Manager and left a message on his voice mail. We are going to order the Platinum range but haven't decided about the wall oven as yet.

kooopons - Thanks for the info. We're about 90 minutes from Reading and I wish they would offer demos there. I think they did at one time. We're also thinking of the blue knobs too - although DH is contemplating a color on the range and hood. I'm not sure I can handle that.

I have a blue BlueStar with blue knobs (I paid for them too), but I LOVE them! They really made a difference!

maire_cate Was is David Prestianni? Which location are you doing the demo? He still hasn't called me, but we are on our way out of town for a bit so hopefully I can coordinate when we return. And yes, I did find out they just moved to a new building- same general area.

Kooopons - it wasn't Prestianni - where are you located? The fellow who contacted me is named Steve and he works out of NY. We must be in different districts. I'm in NJ, just across the Delaware River from Philly and we're scheduled for our demo for 2 weeks in West Windsor, NJ. Steve mentioned that to get the free knobs you have to order from the dealer who is having the demonstration.
