Hi. New to the forum. I have basjoo bananas planted outside and they were covered and mulched all winter. Now with the warm weather, they started growing. I uncovered them to allow them room but it's getting cold again. So I built a mini Greenhouse around them with wood and some drop cloth. It will, or should keep the cost off of them.

Has anyone else had experience with them in this regard? Last year they grew about 10-12 feet tall! The "trunks" on them now are about 3-4 feet tall and in excellent shape. They already have leaves pushing up.

II live in thmontgomeryville area and the area they are in bad a little micro climate, which it why they do so well, that and tons of food!

So, anyone ina similar boat or similar experience in the past?
