I am replacing a 19" circular fluorescent light that uses 32w and 22w bulbs. Will this unit be brighter? Also is is more industrial as in a workshop and not for a kitchen? Lastly will I be able to mount it using the box that the round one is mounted to?

    I'm not sure if it will be brighter than the fixture you have, because I don't know what the lumen output on your fixture is. This particular product puts out 3,627 Lumens, which is on the higher end among fixtures of this type. This T3C is typically meant to be installed within ceiling grids, however it can be surface mounted, and yes you can wire it into your existing box. You may want to look at our Surface Mount Kit for this product, NICOR Model# SK14.
