Orchid shows. Look on line to see when they are in your area. Can't beat the prices. I agree with James, join your local Orchid Society. Lots of great plants, low prices and free! You'll meed people from your area and learn all sorts of things from people who grow in your neighborhood.

I third the motion. Each orchid society has an annual show and other events. Vendors are at the show in competition for your dollars.

I like Santa Barbara Orchid Estate. My best laelias are from there. A bit pricey. but, some of the best most beautiful crosses.
