I bought an antique crystal door knob for my bathroom but it doesn't fit, so now I am realizing I should probably gradually replace all the doorknobs in the house in the same style, but can't decide on the material. There is a lot of farmhouse feel - bead board, white kitchen with soapstone counters, very classic furniture, but the house is "only" 34 years old, kind of Texas ranch style on the outside. Original knobs are antique bronze I guess. They are scratched, painted splashed etc. so as I can afford it, I plan to replace them. Since I probably will be selling in a couple of years I want to chose something with that in mind. I really like this: https://www.build.com/schlage-f10-geo-brk-passage-door-knob/s503197 but don't know if it is too girly and wonder if I should do nickel or this black color. I could just do this on my bed and bath and put simpler ones everywhere else, but shouldn't they all be the same color? Most of the doors are white, but a few are dark wood.
