We just bought our home a few weeks ago. While cleaning up the huge mess left in the yard I found this hanging pot. Me and the kids painted it and now they want to plant something in it. They love plants with big flowers, flowers that stay bloomed a while and flowers that last a while when picked. But I am thinking something that hangs down (I think it's called trailing but not sure) would look best.

I'm in zone 6 and this pot is now hanging on my front porch where it gets shade until about 2:00 then sun the rest of the day. Would love some ideas of stuff to plant in it.
