Does the mattress slide into/underneath the headboard?

I need to know the total length of the bed with the headboard. Does the mattress slide into the headboard or would I add 10.88" to the total length of the bed- mattress with the headboard?

Hello Kendra,

This listing is just for the bookcase headboard and does not included the whole bed. The length of the headboard is 62.75".

Hey Kendra,

So to answer your question the mattress does not slide under the headboard. You would have to add the 10.88" to the length of the mattress.
