Others here may have some answers for you, but I highly recommend the appliance forum, linked at the top of the kitchen's page.

To go higher end I'd do a combo of an induction cooktop and a wall oven mounted underneath. Miele has options. A plumbed Miele combi under would be very usable.

Bluestar has a lot of fans and is available in a 24" version.

So I take it a 22 15/16 cooktop wouldn't work? I got one at Costco.

If you're open to the idea of a cooktop + oven, it would definitely be better to go induction, since you can use the cooktop as extra working space much more easily than you can use gas grates. But if you aren't doing a full-scale renovation, just a straight appliance changeout, that would be a pain.

Verona has a lovely 24" range, but it's 23-7/8, unfortunately.

Gotta say that those prices on induction cooktops in the US are out-rage-ous!

IKEA in Europe, 240.00-500.00 euros.

Yep, and you can get amazing little induction ranges, too, for about what we pay for a basic gas one.

And don't forget the paneled fridges :)

I wonder if I can carry an induction top in my carry-on luggage.

@Dan, I'd call AJ Madison and ask them.

I have a summit electric range in my basement. It has been very reliable for about 8 years. Here is the gas version of the one I have. Width is 23.25"
