I am choosing paint color for my newly renovated kitchen. Our cabinets are breirwood color with verde butterfly granite tops with a greenish/gray slate look tile. Our backsplash will be a redding brick in travetine beige/ off white colors.... I would love to paint the walls a greenish gold paint. "people" say that because my kitchen does not get much natural light, I should not go darker on the walls. I feel the darker color will allow the room to 'pop'. We don't have much wall space to paint except in the eating area.
