Didn't get a chance to answer - have been feeding an orphan foal whose mother died and this has taken up most of my time. I did find the daylily farm who has this and plan to order as soon as I get a chance. Thank you!

If your soil is sufficiently acidic, just plant in your native soil (with the top of the rootball above grade) and use the pine bark as a light mulch. If your soil is heavy clay or doesn't drain well, dig a very wide but shallow planting hole in the native soil and plant so that at least half the rootball is above grade and use the bark mulch to mound up to the edge of it.

If your soil is not sufficiently acidic, you maybe should rethink the azalea choice.
