tilted/angled seat?

I purchased one of these to see if I like it before ordering all 4 that I need. The seat seems to be angled/sloped (higher at front edge than at the back). Is it supposed to be that way?

Hello...

The seat is overall leveled, it's not significantly raised in any of the sides. The padding on the seat may look slightly raised, that's very minimal.

Thank you. The one I received must be defective as the plate embedded in the seat is flush in the back and sticking out approximately 1/2 to 3/4 inch causing a significant tilt to the seat.
