I was thinking the same thing. Either way it's pretty and I do like red but not in the middle of the summer which it isn't yet!☺☺

Seedlings have surprises and usually no expectations.

But baby elephants take even more room than bulbs...

I love your vittatum more although the red is pretty too. The vittatum looks a little like one of your Gordie selfs you posted last year. Very beautiful! Do they set seeds?

They do set seed and I was very VERY naughty last year and never mailed any out. Perhaps we can try again this year.

Kristi, please don't blame yourself! I perfectly understand that sometimes there are things in life that need more time than Hippeastrum seed exganges :-) I asked because I couldn't find your pictures from last year and wasn't sure whether they are the same or not. But of course, if you have seeds this year I'd still be happy to get some. I really like the look of your vittstums and I love fragrant flowers...
