Corner sink

I love the idea and look of the sink on far corner of island. Is it awkward not to have a little counter space on left?

    actually, one person can wash and one can dry and set the dishes on the counter. Also the kids can stand on two sides to do prep work! If we had centered it, there would have been no room for the storage and DW. IN this scenario, there is no cabinetry on the exterior wall, so there is room for workers that won't be in the way of someone cooking.
