Hoya shopping - no hoyas but .....

So I stopped by Lowes yesterday looking for Ruby Sue and I had no luck :-)

But, when I got back to my car this was the vehicle parked in front of me. (It's so cute, I had to share. Hope no one minds)

Well, you asked :D This is Flansburgh.

    This is Squishy.

    and this is Loki.

Squish and Flansy are British Shorthairs and my old man Loki is a Shiba Inu. (he is 15) We had another shiba but he passed away a couple of years ago. This was Wylie. Still miss him :(

Sorry, those photos are huge! Oops :(

We have a fish tank but cant find a photo of it. Here is one of the Congo tetras in the tank.

You have a lot of cats aurorawa, that's a lot of mayhem in one place!

I like your tortoises :D I used to foster an Eastern Snake neck turtle called Gamera. He was brought into the state illegally by someone and seized by quarantine. I got to foster him for a couple of years.

I've always wanted chickens! I like the really fluffy ones. Can't keep them in the city though :(

    All are beautiful!

triffidmoss - I'm sorry about Wylie. He sure was handsome! I love Shibu Inas. My brother had 2 Akitas which are like huge Shibus.

aurorawa - you sure have your hands full :-) and not to mention caring for all your beautiful Hoyas! You're like super woman lol

I hadn't even seen the quail. Great camouflage!

Thanks! I used to foster pregnant strays/abandoned cats and kittens, but my work schedule the last couple of years, made it too hard. I really miss doing it. It gave me my kitten fix! I highly recommend fostering!

Ha ha, that would never happen here. Squishy still hasn't forgiven me for getting Flansy and it's been 3 years now.

Monica, I'd love an Akita but I'd worry about not being strong enough to hold them back if they ever decided to take offence to another dog, which some of them can do. There is a couple of Japanese Akita breeders in Aus now. Not the American Akita, which is the common breed and often just called Akita. They are different breeds and the Japanese ones are a bit smaller and not as heavily built. I have though about getting a Japanese Akita one day. Once again, big strong dogs. Of course if I won Tattslotto I'd import a Shikoku!

You're so right about them being very strong. The only way I could I could walk his first dog was with a no pull harness. His second Akita was 90 pounds and scared of my 7 pound Siamese cat. lol
