Most garden centers will have fruit bushes, including blueberries, for sale in the spring. I have also found native wild huckleberries growing up in the William's Fork mountains (north of Silverthorne) so maybe look into those? I'm sure that soil is still more acidic than what we have here on the Front Range though.

I called Echter's today as well, and according to the receptionist, in order for a nursery to sell a plant as organic, there can't be any non-organic plants on the same floor... meaning essentially that the entire nursery has to be organic. If that's true, it's no wonder I haven't heard anything about organic blueberry bushes around here.

If you aren't selling the fruit under the organic label, than you would be fine to grow any blueberry bush you get and once you plant it and grow it in your yard, do so organically.
