Time to transplant? Usually the seedlings may sit there especially if in a small pot. Fresh mix will often get them to growing. I've had that problem in the past and moved some seedlings to a bigger pot with fresh mix and now they are decent young plants. Still treat them as young plants though! That means never allowing to dry out, probably terrarium conditions until they get big enough, lots of light, etc.

There are always risks involved with most things but then as the old adage goes: "No risk - No gain" is used more for Wall Street but it also applies to most things in life...

Some soilless mixes don't contain fertilizer and they made need a little boost. Other times, they germinate and kinda pause for a little...maybe for root growth, etc. If everything okay otherwise, you might want to just give them a week of two.

Wow! Did you start those this year?! I thought begonias as slow growers? I still have begonia seeds and it kindof seems a bit late to start them, or am I wrong?

By the way, I transplanted my other ones and they died within a few days.

These were last March. I think you can start them any time as long as you have lights and warmth.

Here they are earlier this week. Nothing exciting about them - not much different than the parents. They were not very big from the picture above other than the weakest ones did die. I potted them up just a few weeks ago and this is how fast they grew.
