bathroom vanity

I'm building a bathroom and I need a bathroom vanity that is 39 inches wide. I've had a heck of a time finding a traditional vanity in that width-is it really that hard to find one? Will I have to go with a 36 inch and fillers? I plan on getting my own counter top. Thanks!

Yes correct this is not a standard size. If you plan to use kitchen cabinets to create this vanity, and it is installed up against a wall, you will need a filler. (The maximum width of a filler should not exceed 3 inches.) If the cabinets do not reach floor meaning on short legs then do not use a filler.

Try looking for an antique washstand or small dresser to use for a sink cabinet instead. It will be easier to find a wider range of sizes, is easy to adapt for a sink, and gives your bathroom a more unique (and dare I say -- decorator?) look.
