Hippeastrum anzaldoi

Hi everyone! My H. anzaldoi surprised me with its first scape this year. It took me a few days to get pictures that show the color just right. It's pale yellow with a green throat, and if you look carefully the veins in the tepals are tinged with pink.

From the side:

And the whole plant. The scape is purple towards the bottom. The pot is a 4" clay pot, for scale. The flowers themselves are about 3" wide, quite small.

Scapewatch continues: next up are Sophisticate (my personal favorite hybrid), and H. caupolicanense. I'm saving the pollen from these flowers to cross once that blooms. I think the results will be interesting :)
