maybe check to see if UT has an ag extension service that recommends types for your area. UGA has a pretty good one that helped me pick some for my area, down I-75 a little from you. In my case, rabbiteye varieties were recommended, so I got one each of 5 varieties. Figured I'd taste them all, then I can add more of 2-3 varieties that I like.

I was just at Lowe's, and in our area, they had a whole ton of rabbiteye varieties for $11 each.

I would suggest checking out simmons plant farm, they are in NW Arkansas so the climate should be similar to yours, they ship bare root so they are probably getting near the end of their shipping season, but are priced reasonably if you can't get good prices on potted blueberries locally. (I paid $6 each in 3 gallon pots from a local large blueberry nursery last fall)

I bought from Simmons - about $6/each, including shipping for blueberries. All 5 are in the ground, and doing well so far. I planted them about a month ago, and they starting to add some growth and leaves.
