The first thing I would remove while the sap is down is that oversized evergreen by the garage. That is a danger to your garage, and cars inside it, foundation and home. Not sure where you are located, but if that came down in a ice storm, or wind and rain, it would destroy whatever it hit. Glass blocks are relatively easy to remove, if you are careful. I can't really see the window, and I wonder why the owner's installed it in the first place. What is behind it?

You are spot on! Already removed the big tree as well. I thought I had a new pic when I went to type the post and realized I only had the one with the trees in it. The owner had a glass block business and I believe it was once a garage opening.

Ok. You work fast! Lol. I think you could put a French door there since you have a porch roof. (Water intrusion prevention). Make one door fixed and one operational depending on what the interior room requirements are. A bistro table and two chairs outside would create welcoming spot for a cup of coffee or adult beverage after a long day. I think you can turn that into an asset.
