It is gable roof with an offset gable. I can't remember what the exact color is. It is a classic farmhouse red. I did this paint job in 2003 in Greensboro, VT. The home was an old dairy operation. The window that you see that follows the ridge line is something you only see in areas of Vermont. The window was very functional because there is a bed below that I slept on and I used it all the time in the summer to get a breeze. I hope this was helpful.
