Will it be going on the existing bed wall with the beds separated? Since you like a lighter look and feel, a silvery light blue would be elegant.

Assuming I'm assuming your note, I don't think one tufted headboard behind two separated twin beds will look quite right. If the walls are gray as they appear, I think off-white would provide nice contrast and create a light feel.

I agree with ackcx3. Based on the light in the first photo, it looks like there may be a nearby window on the other wall too. If you haven't already, just make sure you take good measurements. It would be a shame to have it built and not work. I like color #1. Tufting on darker colored fabric is usually not as easy to see as tufting on light.

You need to fix the balance problem. The two twin beds need to be centered more on that wall and the area rug needs to be centered under the two beds (which will fix your problem of having the one bed too close to the other wall). Then if you only have one window (which I'm assuming you do because you only hung one curtain), then you need to "create" a second window by hanging the same curtain on the wall over an imaginary window. I like the rug, but the curtains needs to be changed out ... that pattern is too juvenile. I would not go with blues, I would pull from the grays in that rug for your two matching headboards. Then you need a bigger nightstand in between the two beds.
