Does anyone grow one of these? I know it's not an orchid, but requires similar care from what I've seen online. Someone sent me a cutting 3-4 years ago and all it does is grow taller and taller. I've cut it back a few times. I feel like it should be less tall and spindly. It's in an eastern window, in orchid bark with some spaghnum moss, gets watered when dry, and gets miracle grow orchid fertilizer fairly regularly. This winter I added CFL lighting in the evenings for the orchids, and the medinilla's top leaves turned a reddish color which I think meant plenty of light. It has never bloomed, and does not look like the health plant pictures online. Any suggestions? I'm thinking a summer outside will be my final thing to try.
