Do the leaves have veins or smooth? Could it be a Beauty Bush? Don't ask me any other name. I've only seen one and it's on the FAA grounds. It's gorgeous! The leaves have veins.

First glance I thought of a young lilac. I have one and the leaves are similar but not as curled. Your curl may be from transplant shock?

I sure couldn't tell you now! All the leaves are crispy critters! Of course, I'll leave it where it is to see what happens, but this was planted on Saturday and the leaves crumble at the touch now. Paula, you're probably right. Transplant shock.
