Western Red Cedar

Could you tell me how and what product you used for the cedar? You state it's a clear stain. Could you tell me if the cedar was treated before applying the product. Was it oil based? Thanks so much

Western Red Cedar, 1x8 shiplap. Visit the Western Red Cedar Lumber Association web site for tons of info about products and applications.

Look at Superdeck Stain, if available in your area. Custom blend to suit your needs. The project builder and painting contractor should be making recommendations appropriate to your location.

I believe that's what they have given us a sample of. The color is good, just a very flat finish but it's hard to tell from one slat.
