Any tricks on getting the Obtusa to bloom?...Both my Singapore and dwarf pink black tipped on me, but rebounded nicely. The spring growth tips are pushing right past the old black tips. Got my first bloom yesterday on a J. Jack Desert Sunrise...

The Singapore is at my gf's house and is a VERY old tree.

Its gets Excalibur fertilizer and bloom bost and left alone.

Where do you live?

Coastal FL is very warm so black tip is pretty rare here.

I gave my mother a Nebels Raibbow (also prone to black tip) 3 years ago and has had no problems.

Patience and good nutrition appears to be key...No shortcuts lol, I'm in Socal, Rancho Bernardo. Thanks for the input!

the bloom is beutufly but I am trying to understand why a lot inflow looks off.

I'm thinking that the inflo is misshaped because I accelerated it's development in a grow tent without regard for how the lights were placed around the plant for 3 weeks in late winter...but don't know for sure.
