Hello! I figured I would introduce myself, ask for help, and introduce a trade in one swoop.

We'll start with about me: Michelle, 40. Married 14 years. SAHM mom. Two daughters: 20, 14 (both at home.) Wanna-be gardener. New homeowners as of 11/2016. We have 6.5 acres that I'd like to be a sanctuary for both my family, my pets, AND the wildlife.

My first set of goals include: outdoor aviary for wild birds, enhancing our land for pollinators, a frog pond, and gardening.

I have five dogs. My older daughter has two cats and two ferrets. My younger daughter has a cat and a 5 month old Russian Tortoise.

Our Russian Tortoise requires a steady and varied diet of greens and flowers. This is how I justified all of these expenses with a new mortgage! =)

Moving on to the help section: I purchased a 15 x 7 x 7 greenhouse. I have loads of pots, seeds, and such. I have no idea how to set up and correctly maintain a greenhouse. We'll just leave it that I'm overly ambitious!

Any tips, tricks, resources, and experience you could provide with a greenhouse would be greatly appreciated!

I have a huge interest in obtaining a large variety of seeds. I would love to do a grab bag type exchange. You send me what you can spare, don't need, or have an abundance of and I'll send at least five back. I figure ten seeds per variety (clearly labeled with where they were obtained and scientific names so I know if they are safe for Hector.) A link to the product information sheet online would be fine. Next week we will set up a PO BOX, so please send me a message if you're interested and I'll send the address when I have it.

The sender could specify what they'd like in return between varied seeds, flowers, or edibles. I'll take anything that has a scientific name. Someone in my house will love to watch it grow and be nurtured. If you just want to unload some and don't want any in return, rest assured... they will be loved and appreciated here.
