Diningroom Table

Steer clear of Wholesale Living and Crackled Glass Table by Zuo Modern ! Last June I purchased a very expensive crackled glass table from Houzz via Wholesale Living and manufactured by Zuo Modern. When I placed the order, the Houzz site provided just one delivery option---free shipping. There was no option of white glove service which was fine by me----I did not want or expect white glove service. I did, however, believe that this expensive, 300 pound table would be brought into my foyer. Instead, Wholesale Living provided delivery ONLY through Fed Ex. One Fed Ex guy came to my home and dumped the 300 pound monster ON MY LAWN. I had to hire someone to bring it into the house. After about four months I noticed a crack developing along the top. I called Houzz. Even though the table was STILL UNDER WARRANTY they had a very tough time getting Wholesale Living to honor the warranty. Finally, after many months, I was advised that the replacement table was soon to be delivered---IN THE EXACT SAME MANNER AS THE FIRST ONE. Really??? I notified Wholesale Living and honestly, I have never dealt with such ignoramuses in my life. They said it was MY fault because I didn't choose white glove delivery. THEY DIDN'T OFFER WHITE GLOVE DELIVERY. Had they told me they were going to dump it on my lawn I would NEVER have ordered it. Moreover, Wholesale Living maintains that dumping a 300 pound object on a customer's lawn is 'great customer service.' Honestly----go elsewhere for all purchases and deal directly with vendors----Houzz is at the mercy of companies like Wholesale Living and that means BUYER BEWARE. Steer clear of Wholesale Living at all costs. You do not need their BS. And finally----think twice about furnishings made by Zuo Modern. This uber-expensive glass table was simply for decor---no one sat around it----nothing was placed on top of it and still it inexplicably cracked. Between Houzz, Wholesale Living, and Zuo Modern---with an assist by Fed Ex---this has been the retail trifecta from hell.
