Robs Cool Fruit

This plant is at least two years old. This is the first bloom!

Not as pretty as I was hoping. I'm not fond of this shade of pink.

Over two years old and just now getting it's first bloom?. I commend you. You have the patience of a saint. I might have been inclined to strangle the poor plant. The foliage is nice though.

Misstee - lol! The only reason I had such patience is cause I thought I would love it. Kind of disappointing when I realize I don't like the color. The foliage is so gorgeous tho! Haven't decided if I'm gonna keep it or gift it... But the problem with gifting is that most people don't understand how to take care of violets... And I'm scared she would Die. :\ :D

Oh gosh yes, I have that problem too. So torn about giving away violets for fear sending them away will get them killed.

I love the color of the flower and the leaves. It is one I am considering getting with my gift certificate from Violet Barn.

Updated pic... Its growing on me!

Now it is blooming to the description. Much prettier than the first blossoms with stripes of pink. Good Job!

I bought a trailer, Bashou, last year at the Violet Show. I don't know why I bought it. When we got to Wendy's afterward for lunch I even told AnneC I didn't like it, did she want it? She said at least take it home and after a while if you still don't like it I will take it. Well, little Bashou sat on the window ledge and slowly but very surely grew on me. One day I looked at it and I was in love! She is a a most beautiful trailer with pretty blue flowers !!! I guess the moral of this story is,,,,,,,Patience is a virtue ! lol !!!

Good for you for hanging in there Su!!!!! Rosie

PS. Bashou, as we speak, is now blooming well on that same window ledge.

Francine Pilon - the hybridizer from Quebec - is very selective on what she names and releases, Her hybrids are excellent. Bashou is a very desirable one.

Ok, ok, well, I didn't sleep well Friday night. Was tired as get out Saturday but still had a GREAT time!!!! When I got home I didn't do anything with violets. I took a nap.

Today I have been playing with them, but it may be a couple more days before I get ready to post about it ! With pix!!!! Except tomorrow,,,gotta have my eyes dialated. THAT will screw up my vision for the rest of the day. Always does. So give me a couple days and look for a new thread about the violet show! Rosie
