I would do it, along with the lettuce and spinach. I plan on doing the same thing this weekend as well. After all it is one big fun experiment to learn from. I love pushing early season planting. It usually works out well for me in Zone 4.

hmmm - my veggie garden isn't turned over and ready to plant yet, but maybe I can get a space for peas ready and plant as well. I plant lettuce in 24" wide by 6" deep planting bowls and already on this weekends agenda to plant.

I didn't get seeds planted until the next week. Peas are beginning to break through the soil. Radishes are up with two leaves. No sign of the lettuce.
