Hi Paulie, I too am growing seedlings at the moment, although mine are a little bit bigger than yours with a few more leaves. For comparison, I give mine about 6 hours of sunshine a day, some of which is filtered sun. I let mine dry out a bit before watering, but I do not let them dry out completely yet. Maybe yours are going too dry between watering especially if they are getting a lot of sun. Maybe they need to be a bit bigger first. It can be difficult to get right at this stage, & only you can judge what is best for your climate & conditions. Good luck with your seedlings. Rachel :)

Thanks Rachel, I'm always afraid to water too much because of the fungal issues but maybe Ill water them every day instead of every other day. Its my first time growing adeniums so I'm not sure if I'm doing things correctly. I always hear people say "filtered light" or "filtered sun" What does that mean exactly?

Paulie, filtered light/sun just means an area that lets sunlight through, but also creates some shade. Think for example, a large tree that casts sunlight & a little shade on the ground beneath it. I have a timber pergola with slats outside - that I place my babies under for filtered sun. I do give them direct/full, early morning sun until about 10.30am here, then move them under the pergola for the filtered sun, just for a little extra protection until they get a bit bigger. Paulie, I wish I could say we built the pergola, but we didn't. Lol - It came with the house. We have covered half of the pergola for shade & have our table and chairs underneath, where we sit back & enjoy our garden. Cheers!
