I am trying to figure out the best place for our fureplace and builtins in our living room. The space is 18 x 18 approx. The entrance into the home will be into the living room. There is a door on the west wall,a door to the master bedroom and a set of stairs on the north wall.

The south wall would be the best place but I am concerned with where to put the windows. I thought about having a bookshelf one one side of the fireplace and a window seat on the other side so to have a good soze window in the space.

In an ideal world I would have the fireplace on the west wall since it would be to be viewed from the kitchen.

My husband would like the tv above the fireplace but I am open to the tv being in abother place.

I have included a picture of the layout of the room. The entry door can be moved.

So If you have any ideas on where to out the fireplace, have some storage and keep and entry way I would greatly appreciate it.
