Shang, Beautiful pots. When did you make them, how long ago. You need to be careful planting in pots made of cement. The new pots need to be aged so that the lime and curing of the cement does not damage the plants roots. Leaving them out to the elements for a long period will give it time to cure. You may be able to buy a sealant (non-toxic) for the inside, but most cannot be put on right away.

Check it out at local cement producing place or Building store.

I had issues with this one a very nice plant, so worth a check.

How long do they need to be left outside to cure? I guess they need to be rained on to do this, not just left in the sun?

I just let them sit for a few days. I spray them with water. This also prevent them from cracking during the drying process. The plants seem to be happy in the cemet pots we made for them. During the summer months and noon hours, the cemet pot can be very hot and dry out the soil fairly quickly.

I am very disappointed with the order I placed with toptropical. The roots system is kinda damaged from the drying process or whatever they did to prepare for shipment. I have to trim off the roots that appeared to be rot. The solution I brought appeared to be 1/2 full compared to the other bottle. This is a first and might be last time I do business with them. Will call tomorrow to see what their
